I am currently postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Demographic Studies in the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. Previously I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bologna in the ERC project GENPOP. I hold a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Trento. My research interests include the study of patterns of assortative mating in historical and contemporary societies, together with issues related to the stratification of demographic phenomena in the transition to adulthood.
