Ageing and Wellbeing
Description
How do individual, community, and institutional factors shape the wellbeing of middle-aged and older adults? As people age, changes in health, disability, increasing care needs, unmet social care needs, care provision, social connectedness, family, and community dynamics can all influence wellbeing. This line of research explores how these factors interact to either support or hinder wellbeing, with the aim of identifying the conditions that foster healthy, independent, and socially connected lives in later adulthood.
